- Show up for
class, especially on Fridays. Below are the exam scores
for the people that did show up for class compared to those that
did not.
- Keep up with
the readings. There is too much to wait until the end. Exams will
cover the portions of the readings discussed in class.
- Use classroom
notes/handouts and the Summary, Key Terms, and Study Questions
sections at the end of each chapter to help decide what is important
for exams. Then practice drawing diagrams like those in the book
or discussed in class.
- If you have
questions that you don't get a chance to ask in class, you can:
(a) see me before or after class,
(b) e-mail me (glenn@imcs.rutgers.edu)
and specify MARINE SCIENCE CLASS as the subject of your e-mail,
(c) call me for an appointment (732-932-6555 x544), or
(d) stop by my office/lab (MCSB 111C/109) area. (If you cannot
find me, ask someone in the office/lab area where I can be found.
- There is a
University Policy on Academic Integrity described in the
Undergraduate Catalog on pages 545-546. Don't say I didn't
tell you.
