Through the Barnegat Bay National Estuary Program (www.bbep.org) all municipalities in the Barnegat Bay Watershed are being provided with 100 stormdrain drain labels and 500 door hanger fliers. All labels are marked with our “Watershed Willy” logo and indicate drainage to Barnegat Bay. The labels should be affixed to stormdrain inlets located along curbed roads with sidewalks (less than 35 mph). The matching door hangers are to be distributed to residents within the vicinity of the labeled stormdrain. These door hangers describe what non pointsource pollution is and why it is important that storm drain inlet be kept clean. For more information on this program please contact Shannon Shinault (Public Outreach Coordintaor, BBNEP) at 732- 255-0472 or sshinault@ocean.edu For more information on ordering stormdrain markers please visit das
