Research Interests:
I study ocean circulation and biogeochemical cycling on the continental shelfs. Currently I'm focused on the New York Bight and I am involved in the LaTTE and NLIWI/SW06 experiments. I use coastal ocean observatory technologies such as HF Rader, gliders, satellite remote sensing and modeling in my research. I am also interested in the effect of pollution and stresses on the coastal and open ocean due to human activities. Using long time series of ocean observatory data we can explore the ocean dynamics over a large spatial and temporal scale.
