Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy to Overcast. Showers, possibly moderate at times possible, especially along the coast of Long Island. N winds 11-20 kts with gusts to 25 kts early. Afternoon sea breeze possible, especially along the coast of NJ. Winds switching to E then S at 5-13 kts along the NJ coast as far north as Ambrose. Winds along the coast of Long Island are expected to remain from the north at 6-12 kts. Rainfall is questionable, however up to 0.4 inches is possible eastern portion.
Seas: 6-10' early, subsiding to 4-8' late
Satellite: Poor, Questionable late.
Tuesday Night: Mostly Cloudy with showers still possible, especially along the coast of Long Island. Winds from the North overnight at 5-14 kts.
Seas: 4-6' lowering to 3.5-5.5' by morning
Wednesday: Mostly Cloudy through midday with showers possible, especially eastern portion through noon. Becoming Partly Cloudy. Winds W-NW early 6-12 kts early. Afternoon sea breeze possible along the coast of NJ, with winds switching to the S-SW at 5-10 kts. Winds should remain offshore along the immediate Long Island shoreline at 5-10 kts.
