README_sbe.txt Overview: This data set provides measurements collected during the Lagrangian Transport and Transformation Experiment during the spring of 2005. Data were collected from 5 moored instruments platforms deployed on the continental shelf off the coast of New Jersey. The data refered to in this file is from an array of CTD and CT sensors (Seabird SBE16plus and SBE37). Mooring Locations: N1: 40 22.804 73 57.013 C1: 40 13.465 73 58.521 C2: 40 13.255 73 55.394 C3: 40 12.739 73 52.199 S1: 39 56.704 74 03.442 Data files are partitioned in the following way: There is one set of files for each instrument. Data format: There are two file formats provided, Matlab (*.mat) and ASCII format. Notes: Bottom Salinity readings at the bottom for moorings C1 C2 and C3 are no good due to large instrument drift.
