Overview:

 This data set provides surface measurments collected during the Lagrangian Transport and Transformation Experiment (LATTE) from May 01, 2004 through May 06, 2004. Data were collected from the R/V Hatteras and include Salinity, Temperature, Optical Backscatter, CDOM, CHlorophyll and Rodamine Dye concentration. 


Data files are partitioned in the following way:

Pre-injection 1 - May 1, 00:00:00 - May 2, 13:50:00
Injection 1 - May 2, 13:50:00 - May 4, 01:13:00
Pre-injection 2 - May 4, 01:13:00 - May 4, 13:40:00
Injection 2 - May 4, 13:40:00 - May 6, 01:30:00
Post-injection - May 6, 01:30:00 - May 7, 00:00:00


Data format:

There are two file formats provided, Matlab (*.mat) and ASCII format.
