Overview:

 This data set provides trakcs of drifters deployed during the Lagrangian Transport and Transformation Experiment (LATTE) from May 01, 2004 through May 06, 2004. Drifters were deployed from the R/V Hatteras. Dataincludes drifter location and temperature.


Data files are partitioned by deployments(note: Drifter 24745 developed a problem after its first deployment and was not deployed again):

Drifter 24790 was deployed four times. It was deployed, collected and redeployed during injection 1. Then deployed, collected and redeployed during injection2.

Drifter 24745 was only deployed once, during the first injection.



Data format:

There are two file formats provided, Matlab (*.mat) and ASCII format.
