README_ancillary.txt Overview: This data set provides ancillary environmental measurements collected during the months of May and April, 2004. i.e. sea surface height, hudson river disharge, etc. Data files are partitioned in the following way: Wind data collected at NOAA Station ALSN6 - Ambrose Light, NY (from the National Data Buoy center) Sea Level at the Battery from station 8518750 -The Battery , NY(preliminary data) (from the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services) Sea Level at Sandy Hook from station 8531680 -Sandy Hook , NJ (from the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services) Hudson River disharge courtesy of the USGS. Disharge was calculkated from the sum of discharges at the Fort Edwards Station and the COhoes station.
