Logistics and Gameplan for the Summer 2001

Summary: This experiment lasts for 1 month and includes 23 different research groups. Once every 3-4 days (Sun. and Wed.) a briefing is given by ocean and atmospheric weather forecasters to everyone. Each different group uses the information from the briefing to determine where there may be a feature of interest (algea line, temperature front, etc.) to them. Then, on the following days, the research groups take up to 13 different boats into the ocean to sample the feature of interest to them. The fun begins July 11, and ends August 8.
