OCEAN -- There were no boat outings today, or good satellite imagery. So we don't have any info to go on but that from the nodes. We will assume that the water column remains mixed, with inshore chlorophyll blooms, and strong ones. It seems that the northwesterlies blew the plankton inshore, but they stayed afloat, not mixing toward the bottom. There seems to be a nice stench along all the Jersey beaches today.
