ATMOSPHERE ---Ugh! Northeasterlies, big waves, and lots of rain. Today, there was a downwelling/mixing storm for the coastal waters. Temperatures were in the 60s all day, and actually dropped as the day wore on. Not a good weather day.

OCEAN --The coastal ocean was being mixed and downwelled by the storm that came through today. I almost tossed my cookies for the first time out on the water. The thermistor strings show this downwelling below.
