ATMOSPHERE --- This morning was Hazy but sunny. The wind was light southwesterly in the morning but became a strong southwesterly gust in the afternoon. It was a very warm day, with highs in the upper 80s. Hazy, Hot and Humid....

OCEAN -- The southwesterlies got the upwelling pumping by afternoon. The Coldest water was between the N2 and N3 lines, about 1 mile offshore (17.7 C). There was a large fluorescence bloom on the inside of N4.
