- (a) Describe the principle temperature features of Figure 1.
- (b) Describe the principle temperature features of Figure 2.
- (c) Use the temperature data in Figure 1 to estimate how long it will take for a parcel of fluid at 160E to sink back to its initial depth if it is raised 40m from an initial depth of 175m? initial depth of 400m? Assume a constant salinity of 34.5 g/kg.
