On occasion, we get clear satellite images that correspond with our CODAR (Coastal Ocean Radar) data, which is described here in detail. In short, the RADAR records current speeds and directions on the ocean surface, which are show as arrows of varying sizes. CODAR is used only during our instense summer research experiments along the New Jersey shore. Just click on the image dates below to see each image.......
